A. Frank Willis' interesting collection

LIFE GOES ON: A. Frank Willis (Q Music)
As much as Stompin' Tom loves his Prince Edward Island, so does A. Frank Willis embrace his home of Labrador.

Essentially a collection of interesting country and Celtic-themed patriotism anthems, Life Goes On still manages to be Canadian without stinking of it. He's got a truckin' song, a bus song and a strangely defiant anti-Central Canada song. More specialized than Shania Twain, but therein lies the charm.

On the Bus is pretty rocking, a shaking head at highway speeders from the stifling back seat by the potty. Keep Rollin' On is part of an almost forgotten genre. Maybe BJ and the Bear are due for a comeback.

 Well, maybe not.

But Willis deserves a listen. Check it out.
